Have Broom Will Travel….

Actually, the Broom, is a staff. My Walking stick. Beautifully Crafted from Spalted Maple with a clear quartz crystal ball on top. I’m done quite my share of traveling this past year. I need to develop my focus and write more and I am definitly working on that, however, here’s a brief recap if you are interested.

I always seem to be invoved in Wedding/Handfastings in October. November 2018 and November 2019 were no diviation from this standard. Last year I was privilleged and honored to officiate a Samhain Marriage Ceremony in Watkins Glenn NY. On November 3rd of 2018 you would find me at Palaia Vineyards & Winery in Highland Mills, NY participating in a Samhain Ritual lead by 4 Sister Covens. My Spring into Summer generally has four set events beginning with Brid’s Closet Beltane event. Ritual is always the Friday night and the Festival all day Saturday at Palaia Winery & Vineyard in Highland Mills, NY This year’s (May 2019) was its 12 year. Once again, I was volunteer on Staff but could only stay briefly between other obligations. June was The Morrigan’s Call Retreat at Camp Cedercrest in Orange, CT, hosted by Author & High Priestess, Stephanie Woodfield. I was on Temple Staff. I also taught a workshop on Cacao Plant Medicine and facilitated a Cacao Ceremony by the water. In August I returned Home to CWPN’s Harvest Gathering. I was honored to embody the element of Spirit in the main ritual in the woods on the Saturday night. *Glitter Happens.* Early September has me at the Green & White Reunion. A gathering of NYC*EMS, mostly retirees, all from the days before the FDNY Merger of 1996. While I was there, and because I was asked, I lead a small, impromtue healing ritual at the 9.11 WTC Memorial at the EMS Acadamy of Training. The reunion had been on the parade ground next to the main building of the acadamy.

I always end Summer with CampAnime. If there is ever a conflict, I will always be at CampAnime.

This Autumn, I attended Hecate’s Key Retreat in Cornwall NY and began deepening my relationship with the Goddess Hecate. There is always something new to experience, to learn, to know, to share. It’s how we grow.

In October, in addition to the Samhain Season wedding I am always drawn into officiating, I was back out in the South West USA. I was part of the 18th Anual Phoenix Pagan Pride Day on November 2nd. The week before, I explored Phoenix, attended ceremony, and got to hand out candy to trick or treaters. The following week I met with other NYC EMS retirees for brunch on a farm, drove to and over the Colorado River, found stone labyrinths in the middle of nowhere-surrounded by everything in the desert, and was welcomed in to explore and find myself in the Temple of Goddess Spirituality: Dedicated to the Goddess, Sekmet. I believe I need to write more about these experiences, but for now, it is enough to say I was there.

This year insprired me to start creating Facebook Live videos. When FB got glitchy as FB does, I was promted to put my YouTube channel online. The FaceBook Videos are still on A Witches’ Life on FaceBook. My YouTube Channel is WillowMoon Consulting. Both are works in progress and I am enjoying the process of learning and creating content.

So here I am, November 28th, 2019. It’s Thanksgiving Day USA. My daughter is interstate driving, My son is working, and I am updating my blog and eating M&M’s while drinking tea. Saturday will be family day. Today I am working on upcoming workshops, ceremonies, and rituals I am to be part of in NY, CT, and FL in the next several weeks. Publicly, I will next be at Mondazzi Books near Hartford, CT offering Cacao Ceremony on December 5th. I will be speaking on atrology and Thriving, not just Surviving Retrogrades at Pagans in the Park in Orlando, FL on December 15th.

Vernal Equinox 2020 will find me back in Sedona at the Goddess Divine Women’s Spiritual Retreat. June will find me part of The Morrigan’s Call Retreat 2020. without a doubt, I will be at CampAnime in September 2020 and I am already reserving part of November to return to Phoenix for Pagan Pride 2020.

I am enjoying this journey and look forward to all the adventures yet to come. Life is most definitely Magickal.
